Google Chrome

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Yeah, I am using it now. It is nice, slim design, barely any buttons.
Everything is well designed, minus the fact that there is no spell checker :|.

The address bar completion is nice however.

I'm using it now. It's groovy! \:D/ I got on the computer this morning and saw that Google had released a web browser so, obviously, I had to download it. And it does have a spell checker, unless the squiggly red lines under my misspelled words are just coincidences. ;)

It does now, but it wasn't working for me when I first downloaded it :-k.

It doesn't have individual spelling checks though, for input sections like the "subject" title in the posting window.

<3. I'm using it now.
It's interesting, and the element inspector (like firebug for firefox) is intriguing.

\:D/ (thanks, uz, for forcing me to get it.)

It's.. ok. There are enough things about it that bug me about it, though, so I'm wouldn't use it as my primary browser.. I guess it is beta after all, although Google's betas are usually pretty good. ;)

I checked it out, and viewed some screenshots here, but I think I'll stick to my browser, Flock. But it doesn't look too bad. I have to many things personalized and book marks and such on Flock, it would take too long to switch.

I used to use Flock, but having only 512 MB of RAM means all my feature-ful browsers are slooooow. :(

I downloaded it, and tested it out for a while, but it's now removed. It's not the greatest. I didn't noticed any spell-checker, it didn't have many options, strange layout, and overall wasn't for me.

It has a spell checker. Unless the red squigilly line underneath the words mean something else. I guess I spelled squigilly right because there is a red line under it

So far I like it better than all other browsers....except that when my wireless network crashes it just keeps trying to load and won't go anywhere... ](*,)

I tried it. Didn't like it much. It's rather difficult to customize, and...well, it's hard to beat Firefox. :)

WARNING: Humor and irony alert.

I haven't tried Chrome yet. The sysop here wants everyone to use only FF. But I know he' stuck in the past because he's still using FF 2.5 himself.

V-lady, on the FF addons website https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... rt=updated a Chrome theme has been posted. If you liked the look of Chrome, then give this a try. It's called "Chromifox."

FF is the short name for Firefox. Firefox's latest version is 3.0.1. Version 2.5 is just an older version with a more classical look. That's all. :hithead:
You can download FF 3.0.1 at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/.

Warning: J-man has the occasion to post in a humorous inflection.

J-man knows exactly what FF is, as well as the ancient FF 2.5 ;).

it r called jokems.

I think my ancient ancestors, the Aztecs used FF 2.5. I read about it somewhere on a stone tablet.
