Glee! From Fox, the trials and tribulations of highschool...

Post by Jennifer Doyle »

And specifically the Glee club? Anyone watching it? I LOVE it and the latest episode, with Kristen Chenoweth, was my favorite thus far.

Love it love it love it. I believe the cast actually sings and I love their versions of songs that they perform. DAH! I was practically giddy when I watched last night's episode on Hulu...*sigh

Doesn't have enough wrestlers or man-eating monsters in it? :-k

Rather unusual title for a crime drama, don't you think? ;)

It's definitely a solid PG-13, and there are quite a few suggestive scenes and content.

But, the singing is wonderful. Yet that's about it.

I don't recall watching anything with man-eating monsters. :noway:

And we just had Public Enemies... although they left out the part where Dillinger's gang killed our sherriff. :(

I actually watched this show because I happened to be babysitting a 11 year-old girl and 8 year-old boy that seem to be addicted to this MORALLY CORRUPT show. ;)

It was rather cheesy...like 80s cheesy. A football team isn't so great so a gay dude teaches them to dance or something...I think they just stole the plot of the unreleased Mighty Ducks 5. \:D/

I love the main girl character, Lea something or other...and the bust the windows out yo car song....ahhhhhh! So much, but like someone said above, solid PG-13. For the usual teenage/homosexual agenda sexual stuff they throw in

hmmm... I generally like more action or mystery in my shows lol. I haven't watched it, might try it sometime. My favorites are stuff like CSI, Bones, House, Lie to Me, Dollhouse, and STARGATE stargate stargate stargate.... (I think I'm stuck...)

I love Glee!!! And the newest episode was definitely the best so far. It was awesome. But my favorite song they've done is still from the first episode. I love their version of Don't Stop Believin'.

The cast is awesome too. They're all really talented, even the teacher and the music is always amazing.

I love Stargate too GW! But I don't follow it very closely, I watch them by the dozen on Hulu long after the fact.

Anyone else noticed how completely awkward and terrible "Finn" is when he's dancing around and walking while singing? I can't figure out if it's his acting like an awkward extremely tall jock, or it's just the actual actor who IS a awkward extremely tall jock...

If he's acting and can make it look that awkward...wow. But maybe stop? Because it's distracting.

I just watched two clips from the new preview! AAAAH! I cannot wait! I love this show so much. I've never desired to get a show on DVD so much...but this one, before even Season 1 is done, I need it.

I love the usual (is it really so usual? lol) teenage/homosexual agenda. \:D/ Btw teenage agenda and homosexual agenda aren't the same thing. ;)

I LOVE Glee. Musical theater is kinda my thing, and I love that it's combined with a tv show. Brilliant. I need to be watching more of it I think. I only saw the Cheno episode and loved it.

The first 15 minutes of the first episode were pretty good. I didn't have time to watch more than that though.
All my friends are really into it.

I will admit to being a fan of Glee. It's been LOL from the very first episode. I don't normally laugh when I watch tv episodes by myself but I do when I watch Glee on Thursdays after the Office (I have to watch it online because I'm busy Wednesday nights). It is sorta sketchy but really good nonetheless. =]

I can't let this go without saying anything. Kurt's coming out was the most poignant and emotional thing I have ever seen on television. It really touched me.

Never before have I wanted the complete season of a show so much as Glee. So amazing, so fun, so vibrant, and full of life. I will always love musicals.

I totally agree. It really shows the terrible pain that gays must go through... I'm certainly not excusing the behavior, but we as christians need to be aware of this and be sympathetic to the pain that they must experience. In my first few months of college, a Christian college, I've learned that we shouldn't be homphobes but really let our friends know that we are there for them if they do struggle with this sin... It was ironic that Glee depicted this through Kurt, because of what has been going on in my mind.

What behavior, what sin? Kurt hadn't even done anything in the line of homosexual at that point, he hadn't even kissed anyone. But ya, this is the issue that I sympathize with more than any other. Obviously. Gays go through so much pain and fear, fear of being rejected, judged, hated, bullied even. It really is sad. It takes alot of confidence to tell someone that you are in fact attracted to the same sex and it's not exactly very easy. When the one tear fell as he told Mercedes, it really touched me, and of course when he told his dad, how emotional that scene was.

That's true. Well, I was talking about homosexuality in general... It is a very sensitive issue that I thought Glee showed pretty well...
