Français!

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Français!

Post by Trent DeWhite »

I've been taking my limited knowledge of french and exhibiting it in the "What times it thread?" I figured it was about time to creat a thread specific to the "language of romance." Anyone fluent in un français? Although my dad is bilingual, I must admit I'm only taking French I. :doubt: But I'm a quick learner. Really. :anxious: What about yourself?

Pouvez-vous parler français?

I'm presently attempting to understand this verb conjugation. ](*,)

Erm. Shadowpaw? Could you add the following option: I hvae engouh truolbe wtih my Englihs. I attempted to add it . . . but after Monday voted. #-o

Oui, je parle le français très bien.

\:D/

I have been taking french for 3 years, of course... I suppose you can't really count when I took it in 4th grade... :P

Did you mean: Je ne peux pas comprendre le français, Top?

Yeah, I can. But only a small amount (forgotten most of it, as the course was several years ago)
"Sonuna" Taranimak ("Sonuna" Sharkquill) has been content lately. She admired own very fine Bed recently. She talked with a parent recently. She talked with a friend recently. She had a good meal recently. She admired a fine tastefully-arranged Desk recently.
She is a citizen of The United States of America. She is a member of The State of Minnesota. She is a member of The Town of Odyssey.
"Sonuna" Taranimak likes Bauxite, Copper, Green jade, the color navy, cloaks, ballistas, cats for their aloofness and hydras for their seven heads. When possible, she prefers to consume Dr Pepper and ramen.
She lives at a relaxed pace. She tends to avoid crowds. She has a fertile imagination. She is completely disorganized. She is very distant and reserved. She tends not to openly express emotions. She needs caffeine to get through the working day.

I would be the 4th option.

I picked 'No, but I can speak another foreign language'. I am taking Latin, but I couldn't have a conversation with you.

Oh, and I would really like to learn French....

I speak German fluently. I also had 4 years of Latin, but, like AIOfan said, I couldn't have a conversation with you.
