Wow, STRYPER, you sound like Hudson from "Aliens."
Ahem, let me break my silence to interject some optimism into STRYPER's bleak prediction.
I do not hear any fat ladies singing.
That, and while Sean Taylor is really, really, really good, he is not the team. Despite losing in the last few games, the team has been playing well, I'd even say they've gotten better. Plus, there's 6 games left and we have the tie breaker over the Lions.
I've not given up hope...

Sean Taylor is even moreso out for the year, just getting shot and all...
But yay the Bengals actually won this week! Of course, it just so happened to be one of the games I didn't even get to see any of.

And now, out for life.
My prayers are with his family.

The Patriots haven't been doing so great their last couple of games. Sunday's game against Baltimore was ridiculous! Wow... I can't believe they won at all. They are incredibly lucky.
So, what do you all think? Will they go 16-0? If not, who do you think will beat them?

So if the Ravens can almost beat the Patriots, and the Bengals have consistently beaten the Ravens this season... doesn't that mean that logically the Bengals can beat the Patriots?
Anyway... Patriots play he Steelers their next game, I think. I don't have a schedule handy but I think that is their last somewhat tough game this season... so they win that they have a really, really good shot of going undefeated for the entire regular season. Playoffs, though... I'm not sure if the Colts will go down twice.
And on an aside... apparently the Patriots coach (I can say his name but I don't feel like trying to spell it now ) totally goes against official NFL dresscode every game!

*lowers Evil Chick's respect level*
EDIT: I was kidding on that... so I just want to clarify that I was kidding... though I WILL say that the Patriot's coach is high on my list of "People who aren't a terrorist or politician that I really dislike".
But if Marvin Lewis was like him I wouldn't complain quite so much.

What did he say? O_O I must have missed that...Evil Chick wrote:Anthony Smith was surprised... I must say, I almost feel sorry for the guy. His comment was totally blown out of proportion, and then they pretty much made him look like an idiot.
ETA: Oh, nevermind, the idea just struck me that I could look it up.
Anyway... Wow. The whole comment was definitely blown out of proportion. And I promise, I'm not just saying this because I like the Steelers. I'd be saying this no matter the team.
I was rolling my eyes the entire time I read this article:

No, he shouldn't have "guaranteed" that they'd win, but seriously, WHO CARES?
Right now, the Patriots care. And because of that, the Jets, Dolphins and Giants better keep their mouths shut for next month if they want to have any chance at beating them.Sarah wrote:No, he shouldn't have "guaranteed" that they'd win, but seriously, WHO CARES?
