Books that should be made into movies

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. We've got books on flossing teeth, plus three books on tossing sheep. If we spent our lives just counting books, we'd never get to sleep!" -Leopold the Librarian ("The Great Wishy Woz")

The Giver

One of my favorite Children's/middle teenage type books ever! It's right in there with Chronicles of Narnia... So good.

Beric the Briton by G.A. Henty.

It has a fight scene where Beric has to fight a lion in the coloseum in front of nero. (My favorite chapter.)

Yes, "The Giver" would be a good movie, done properly!

I would also like to see the Artimis Fowl series in movies and "Trickster's Choice" and "Trickster's Queen".

Most of the Frank E. Perretti books.

I LOVED The Veritas Project: Hangman's Curse.

I want to see the Cooper Kids Books made into movies.

Some of the Star Wars Expanded Universe books. (It's too bad the original SW actors are old now.)

Yes...definitely.

They should make Ender's Game into a movie. ^_^ It'll probably be a hard book to do, though- they'll either make an extremely good one, or fail miserably.

It's been on and off production for several years. I guess they still haven't nailed the script yet. Unfortunatly at one time the director was the same guy who did "Cats and Dogs" and "Son of the Mask". Blech. Hopefully they've gotten a new guy.
